Bel fiore, or 'beautiful flower' in Italian, refers to how the heads can be displayed with centers opened to resemble a flower. Mild radicchio flavour in all seasons.
Harvest when heads are full but loose.

Growing
Radicchio grows best in cool or mild weather, i.e. autumn, winter and spring. It grows best at temperatures of 15-18°C. Summer crops can be successful if nights are cool 16°C.
Start indoors and transplant or direct sow. Plant seeds 3mm deep and cover lightly.
