Italian heirloom, kale. Dark, blue-green, non-curled but heavily blistered (savoyed). Rich, tender leaves which have a softer texture and milder flavour than green curly kales. Tolerant of hot and cold weather. Recommended for baby leaf only.

Kale prefers a fertile, well-drained soil high in organic matter.
Plant from early spring to late summer.
Sow seeds 30cm apart and 1cm deep.
For a continuous supply, sow about every 2 weeks.
