Scabious Giant
Scabious Giant
Cephalaria gigantea
Seeds per packet : 15
This ultra tall Scabious is a highlight in my late spring garden. The dainty lemony green flowers heads float above the plants. I plant it alongside Valerian which is of a similar height and the soft mauve and the lemon of the Scabious play beautifully off each other. The seed heads are as delightful as the flowers however cutting the stems back after the spring flowering may give you a second flowering in summer.
