Monarda 'Lemon Mint'
Monarda 'Lemon Mint'
Monarda citriodora
This is a stunning variety of Monarda with long stems of dusty purple flowers that look quite other worldly. It has a lovely citrus scent and is known as lemon bee balm and lemon mint. Bees love it and both the leaves and flowers are edible having a spicy mint flavour. Try adding the petals to salads or making tea from the leaves.
