Award of Garden Merit (A.G.M.) from the Royal Horticultural Society.
This majestic, clump forming perennial grows to around 1.8m in height. Branching sprays of delicate white flowers open early summer to form a frothy cloud above the large leaves. It's a little like a very large gypsophila and the green seed pods that follow are as enchanting as the flowers.
